Sympathy 4 the Finger (S4TF) is a band dedicated to bringing classic rock to its fans wherever requested (basements, dining rooms, backyards, etc.). Originally comprised of 4 guys that really love music and 1 guy that really loves himself, the band's current line-up has changed a bit since it's original debut in October 2006. The women in our
band are actually our “better halves.” We are thrilled that they support what we do, and participate in the band. Without them, we would sound much worse. Just a hobby for all of us, this website has been put together with “tongue firmly in cheek.” We enjoy playing live, and to date, have encouraged our fans (mostly family and friends) to bring donations to all of our gigs. To date we have raised more than fifteen thousand dollars for some of the finest local charities in Central Indiana.
The story behind the band’s name will be saved for another day. Suffice it to say, however, the story involves a very sharp knife, a cutting board, and one member that wouldn’t stop whining about a tiny little cut on his finger.

We hope you enjoy the official band website, and please, spread the word about “The Finger.”
