Ken "Mr Versatility"
Bass/Lead Guitar/Vocals
The newest member of the band, Ken joined in 2012, bringing bass guitar riffs to a whole new level. Comfortable with any axe in his hand (bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, 6-string, 12-string, etc), Ken will play whatever instrument he’s asked. And when he’s asked, whether it’s a Neal Schon guitar lead for a Journey tune, or a Billy Gibbons’ solo for a ZZ Top tune, Ken will learn the part, note for note. Ken also lays down vocals on Clash and Elvis Costello tunes, as well as back-up on many others.
Ken prefers Fender basses and Markbass bass amps. His go-to bass for most gigs an American Standard P-bass. For guitars, Ken prefers his Fender Telecaster for rhythm and his Gibson Les Paul for lead guitar work. He also has a Fender Stratocaster and an Epiphone Casino that he pulls out from time to time. His guitars are powered by a Fender Twin Reverb and a Marshall Class 5 amp.
